GWORLD
Card Coming to the Virginia Campus
The
GWORLD Card will soon replace the existing door readers
for Buildings 1 and 2. GWORLD
cards are issued at the GWORLD Office at the GW Foggy Bottom
Campus and select dates at the GW Virginia Campus.
Building
1 Access:
Effective January
4, 2006—Building 1 will remain
open to the public during daytime hours. GWORLD will be needed to
access the building before 7 a.m. or after 9 p.m. Monday through
Friday and 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays. The building is closed
on Sundays. Access to this building outside of the scheduled hours
will require your GWorld card.
Building 2 Access:
Effective January 26,
2006—GWORLD Cards will be needed to gain access
24 hours a day. Visitors will continue to sign-in through the
guard on duty.
How to Get a GWORLD Card: Spring
2006 semester

any staff & faculty
that still need them)

- Saturday, January 7th, 8 a.m.- 2 p.m.
- Saturday, January
14th, 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Saturday, January 21st, 8 a.m. -2 p.m.
- Thursday, January 26th, 2 p.m.- 6 p.m.
STUDENTS:
For students, please make sure you are registered for at least one
credit hour for the 2006 spring semester. Also bring with you
a valid U.S. Government ID (driver's license) or passport.
STAFF:
Must have gone through orientation OR have letter from department
CONTRACTORS:
Letter from sponsoring GW department
VISITORS:
Letter from company on letterhead
REMINDER: This will be the final GWorld Card Office
visit this semester. After January 21st all GWorld card support will
occur from our main office at the Foggy Bottom Campus. Please take advantage
of our on-site office hours during the month of January to save you the
trip to our Foggy Bottom location.
\We are in the process of trying to
devise a more permanent solution to supporting the Virginia Campus
and will notify you when that plan has been finalized and approved.
